Please see the outstanding updated program for our second Symposium with the theme  “Texas Shorelines –Bays to Beaches” to be held on April 1, Friday, at The University of Texas Marine Science Institute, Visitor Center Auditorium, 750 Channel View Drive, Port Aransas, TX 78373.

As you can see we have a great program so please do come and invite your neighbors and friends.  There is no charge and we have a great luncheon planned, which will be sponsored by:

We thank Chairs Cris Weber of Freese & Nichols, Georgia Neblett and Jace Tunnel for the University of Texas Marine Science Institute, and Dr.  Skip Davis” retired from the Harte Institute, in organizing the program.

For those who are interested, the field trip for the Mustang Island tour will begin at UT Marine Science Institute at 1 pm on Thursday, March 31 and end back at UT at 5 pm.  Dr. Jim Gibeaut and Dr. Skip Davis of the Harte Institute at TAMU-CC are working on a guidebook for the field trip. This will be a very exciting and informative field excursion for one of best natural barrier islands in Texas. There are only three seats available and going fast. Please respond directly to cris.weber@freese.com to reserve your space for the island tour.
